Itinerary

Day 1. (Sunday) Granada

Reception of travelers at the hotel in Granada at 10:00 AM.
Granada city tour and lunch at a restaurant.
In the afternoon, welcome and accommodation aboard the Tren Al Ándalus.
Dinner on board and overnight in Granada.

Day 2. (Monday) Granada – Linares/Baeza

After our first breakfast on board, we will visit Spain’s most visited monument, a rich palace complex built by the Nasrid rulers of the Kingdom of Granada. (The visiting schedule for the Alhambra may vary depending on the number of people in the group, languages, and the permissions of the responsible authorities of the palace complex.)
Lunch at a restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will continue with the visit of Granada.
Dinner on board while the train heads to Espeluy, where we will spend the night.

Day 3. (Tuesday) Linares/Baeza – Úbeda – Córdoba

After breakfast, we will visit Úbeda, a city declared a World Heritage site.
Visit an olive oil mill.
While we have lunch on board, the train will arrive in Córdoba.
Visit the former capital of the Emirate and Caliphate of Al Ándalus, when it was the largest, most cultured, and wealthiest city in Western Europe.
Dinner at a restaurant and overnight in Córdoba.

Day 4. (Wednesday) Córdoba - Ronda

After breakfast on board, we will visit the Mezquita-Catedral and continue our journey by train to Ronda.
Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, we will have a tour of Ronda.
Dinner at a restaurant and overnight in Ronda.

Day 5. (Thursday) Ronda - Jerez

While we have breakfast, the train will arrive in Jerez, where we will visit a sherry wine cellar and enjoy the show “How Andalusian Horses Dance,” a famous equestrian ballet with Spanish music.
Lunch at a restaurant in Sanlúcar de Barrameda and free time.
Dinner on board the train.
Overnight in Jerez.

Day 6. (Friday) Jerez – Cádiz - Jerez

After breakfast, our coach will take us to Cádiz, popularly known as the “Little Silver Cup” and considered the oldest city in the West.
City tour of Cádiz and lunch at a restaurant in Puerto de Santamaría.
In the afternoon, we will return to Jerez.
Dinner on board and farewell party.
Overnight in Jerez.

Day 7. (Saturday) Jerez - Sevilla

During our last breakfast, we will arrive in Seville, where we will bid farewell to the train and its crew, followed by a tour of Seville, which has the largest historic center in Spain. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Seville is rich in art and beautiful gardens.
Lunch on board and end of the trip.
